Fatwa-Kick
yeah yeah, i know i've been on a fatwa-kick as of late, pushing those "scholarly edicts," in the words of one of my fellow sister bloggers (she knows who she is *wink wink*). i guess a lot of issues have been arising on the blog world and my fatwa-kick is an indirect response to these issues as i'm sure many people are asking the same questions and having the same concerns. soooo...chew 'em up and digest 'em.

As Salaamu Alaikum, Jazak Allahu Khairun, believe me, the kick does get noticed. Sometimes it takes a sore behind before we get the point. Even though we may have a thousand excuses why we ignore the reminders, but we have to remember the consequences. Those people who are being punished in the grave, wish they had listened and wish they could go back in time to do it all over again the right way.
wa 'alaykum assalaam ukhti wa 'iyaki. i knew you would understand and i love you for it. especially because i know that if for whatever reason i was wrong you would correct me. alhamdulillah.

As salamu alaikum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatuh,
Indeed, All Praise is due to Allah Sobhanahu wa ta'ala. May His Peace and Blessings be showered upon His Beloved Seal of the Prophets, Mohammad (Salla Allahu 'alayhee wa salam.) Ameen. My dear sister in Islam, I pray that this message finds you in the highest state of taqwa and iman and the best state of health, holding tightly to the Rope of Allah Sobhanahu wa ta'ala and striving the gain His Pleasure. Ameen. First off, I want to say, uhiboky fillah ya "Mizazeez," and secondly, Mashallah, I love your posts. They're very inspiring and touching and allow people to see polygyny in a different light. May Allah reward you for your efforts and may He place baraka in you and your husband and join you both in goodness and in Jannah. Ameen. As for the fataawa, keep them coming sister. Allah Sobhanahu wa ta'ala says, "thakir fa inna al thikra tanfa' al mu'minoon." We all need a reminder ALWAYS! Shaytan is at every door, trying to beautify what is evil, calling us to follow our desires, and working vigorously to lead us astray. I seek refuge in Allah Sobhana wa ta'ala from him and his evil plots. Ameen. May Allah Sobhanahu wa ta'ala make us among His righteous slaves, who command good and forbid evil. Ameen. Also, in regard to the fataawa, we have to live our lives according to the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet (Sallah Allahu 'alayhee wa salam). In order to do so, we need the people of knowledge, i.e. the scholars to interpret the correct teachings of Islam for us so that we may not be fooled by ourselves or others. Allah Sobhana wa ta'ala says, "Wa isaloo ahl athikry in kontom la ta'lamoon," meaning that we should seek the avice of the scholars in our affairs so that we may be upon the correct Guidance, al Haq. Anyhow, that's just what I had to say. Gotta go take care of household and motherly duties now. Jazaky Allahu khairan again for the posts. Hope to read from you soon ;) Barak Allahu feeky. Wa alaikum as salam wa rahmatulahi wa barakatuh. By the way, it's Umm Abdullah (initials KH ;) ) Love you for the Sake of Allah (and that's the best kind of love!)
Alhumdiallah!

Asalaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu:
Sister Azeez or any of the sisters who may feel qualified, I am in desperate need of some polygamy counseling. I have been in polygamy now for almost a year and my emotional state is not improving. Infact it is worsening. I know much about polygamy through positive examples and reading. I have also been exposed to many negative examples as well. I would prefer not to say more here. I want to remain very anonymous, but if anyone can help me via private emails and phone calls, may Allah T'allah greatly reward you. Please leave your email for me on the blog and I will respond immediately. I would prefer not to leave my email for the purpose of remaining anonymous.
Fi Amanillah
